Let’s work together
Denise Kerth, Ph.D
I’ve spent decades in the field of human behavior, learning how people engage with their internal and external worlds, how habits are formed, how behavior is changed. My academic and clinical background in behavior analysis is complemented by my lived experience processing and healing from trauma. I’ve used a variety of treatment modalities to move out of my “thinking brain” and into my body including somatic practices, energy healing, EMDR, and Internal-Family Systems to name a few. Additionally, I am a trauma-informed registered yoga teacher (RYT 200), a ceremony officiant, a restorative justice circle keeper, spouse, and mother. I have completed trainings in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, psychedelic-assisted therapy facilitation, and restorative justice approaches to healing from harm. These experiences and traditions influence the way I approach and hold healing space. I have chosen to practice Heart-Centered Hypnotherapy because it combines modalities that I have personally found to be effective in healing, and it is evidence-based.
